How to read Urdu: A quick course to learn Urdu script

This course is specially designed for those who already can speak, read and write Hindi at any level.
It is useful for all media, movie and theatre personnel, as well as Urdu literature and poetry lover.

- Introduction to Urdu alphabet
- Learning the unique cursive nature of right to left languages
- Understating the different vowel sounds (short and long vowels)
- Arabic and Persian rules for compound words and its pronunciation
- Learning unique Urdu vocabulary by reading Urdu newspapers and web content.
- Understanding the difference between Naskh and Nastaliq fonts.
This course does not cover
- This course is totally focused on how to read Urdu only therefore there will be no audio – Video contents,
- No advance Persian and Arabic grammar (used in Urdu language)

Read signboards, hoardings, road signs, headlines and sub headlines in Urdu, with little more self-practice and exercise you will be able to read all Urdu content

- All important words and phrases for greetings and other quick queries and responses.
- Basic sentence structure and word order (Affirmative, Negative, interrogative, imperative, tenses, can/may, need, let and all other important constructions, and uses)
- Urdu Numbers
- Numbers 1 – 100
- Talking big numbers (thousand, million, billion)
- Ordinal, aggregative and multiplicative numbers
- How to read Urdu.
- Etymological vocabulary enrichment

Integrated All in One Urdu
This is an open ended integrated course, which covers all aspects of language learning such as Script, Grammar, Number system, Vocabulary, Conversation as well as the socio-cultural background and understanding of Urdu language.
