Outdoor Classes
A unique initiative by Dr. Alam Language Academy to club the language learning with direct cultural immersion with native Hindi and Urdu speakers with their socio-cultural and historical backgrounds in their footsteps.
The idea is to make the class on a “ Walk and talk” model around all the diverse socio-cultural, religious, and historical places of Delhi (India)
This course is recommended for all advanced beginners and upper-level students.
Some of the pre-selected locations for outdoor classes are
Jawahar Lal Nehru University Campus (JNU)
Akshardham Temple, Cathedral Church of the Redemption (The Viceroy Church), Lotus temple, Arya samaj Mandir-Vasantkunj, Gurudwara Rikab Ganj, Hazrat Nizamuddin shrine, Jama Mosque,
Sanjay Gandhi Aravali reserve forest park, Lodhi Garden, Delhi Zoo, Rosegarden (Near IIT-Delhi)
Dilli Haat, Surajkund handicraft fair
Qutub Minar, Red fort, Old fort, Safdarjung Madarsa,
National Museum, Shankar’s International Dolls Museum
Raj Ghat (a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi), Indira Gandhi Memorial Museum, India gate
Kusumpur Pahari (The largest slum in South Delhi-Near Vasant Vihar), Chandni Chowk, Paranthe wali gali, chawri bazar etc.
Duration of each outdoor session: 03 hours
These classes are an integral part of our regular Hindi and Urdu classes, however, on clients’ request, we may provide private one-on-one or group outdoor sessions.
You may also invite your family and friends to join these classes if you are already enrolled with us.
Fee structure
- One-on-one: 2400 per outdoor session
- Group: 800 per student per session (Minimum 4 students)
- For those students who are already enrolled with DAL Academy
They will have to pay only for the additional hours apart from their regular session.
For example, if you are enrolled for a two hours session, then you have to pay only the additional one-hour fee.
Information regarding conveyance and other facilities will be provided at the time of scheduling an outdoor class.
