Beginning Urdu
A foundation course in the Urdu language
Course duration: Open-ended
Depends on the student’s learning capability and style. the Invoice will be on the monthly basis.
This course will cover
- All important words and phrases for greetings and other quick queries and responses.
- Basic sentence structure and word order (Affirmative, Negative, interrogative, imperative, tenses, can/may, need, let, and all other important constructions, and uses)
- Urdu Numbers
- Numbers 1 – 100
- Talking big numbers (thousand, million, billion)
- Ordinal, aggregating, and multiplicative numbers
- How to read Urdu.
- Etymological vocabulary enrichment
- Lots of intensive dialogue and comprehension practice
- Socio-cultural explanations of words, phrases, proverbs, and idioms
- Outdoor classes* (Depends on students’ desire and feasibility)
This course does not cover
- Serious political debate and discussion
- Reading or writing professional literary works/contents
- Outdoor movie shows
After completion of this course, you will be able to
Construct and understand the complete Urdu sentence structure, you may be able to share your ideas and views on various topics, you may ask or respond to all the required information from different agencies and offices, you may find comfortable to ask/tell directions, address, order, and request, quote time and distance, shopping and bargaining,
Overall this course contains all you need to make yourself understood in basic everyday contexts.
